SCOTT DEPOT - The Putnam County school board voted unanimouslyMonday to approve 146 jobs, with a majority being temporary summerpositions.
The bulk of the positions will be for the Putnam SummerAcademies, a program put on by the school system for students inKindergarten through grade 7.
The arts and humanities workshops will be at George WashingtonMiddle School in Eleanor from June 21-July 2, while the science andtechnology workshops will be at Hurricane Middle School from July 5-16. Both programs are free.
